West Oak Ridge Drive and circles paving Fall project 2018 web

Before the end of the year, 18 city streets will be repaved as the Orange Beach City Council voted on Tuesday, Sept. 18th, to approve a low bid of $380,000 to Roads Inc. of NWF.

With the original bid for coming in under budget at $380,000, three more streets were added for $22,768 in a change order approved by the City Council on Tuesday, Oct. 2nd.

Orange Beach Planning Commission meeting October 2018

The Orange Beach Planning Commission is scheduled to meet at 3 p.m. Monday, October 8th for its work session followed by its 4 p.m. regular meeting in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 4099 Orange Beach Blvd.

Orange Beach Golf Center 2013 aerial

The City of Orange Beach Golf Center will hold its first Skins Game Tournament of the 2018-19 fall/winter season on Sunday, October 7th, and then on the first Sunday of each month through April, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The public is welcome.

Cost is $5.50 for Golf Center members and $22 for non-members. Registration starts at noon.
