No severe weather to report. The Heat will be our main concern!
Friday through Monday:
Mostly sunny skies will continue to dry us out! However, it is the summer time in the south so there seems to always be some small chance of rain. A 40-50% chance of rain today and possibly less through the rest of the weekend.
We will be replacing the rain with heat. Highs will be in the low 90s and it is possible that our area may be in a Heat Advisory soon. Heat Index will be nearing 110 degrees. Please stay hydrated!
Low to Moderate risk of rip currents is forecast through the weekend.
**Any small change in weather, such as a large thunderstorm, can quickly change the rip current forecast so please always check Surf Rescue for the daily beach conditions.**
Seas will be around 2ft today and then 1-2ft Saturday through Monday.
Orange Beach Buoy (station 42012) is currently recording 84 degree water temperature with 2ft. wave height.

No Tropical Threat for our area. A trough of low pressure is located just offshore of the Georgia/South Carolina border that has a 30% chance of development within the next 1-5 days. No threat to the Gulf of Mexico.
