No tropical weather threat for our area this week.
* Fiona developed into a Hurricane yesterday and is expected to strengthen as it moves northwest out of the Dominican Republic. Hurricane Fiona will eventually turn to the north and northeast later this week and remain in the Atlantic with no threat for our area.
No severe weather expected.
*Heat could be a small factor as High temps could reach the low 90s with the Heat Index trying to reach the 100s.
Monday through the Weekend:
Monday - Friday - Mostly sunny skies with little to no chance of rain. Unfortunately the Summer temperatures return with Highs trying to reach the low 90s each day. Lows will fall into the mid to upper 70s.
The weekend - Mostly sunny skies will continue with Highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Maybe a small chance of rain by Sunday.
Moderate Risk of Rip Currents through most of the week.
