American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR/AED Course

The HeartSaver CPR/AED course is designed for those with little to no medical training. Anyone who wishes to be prepared for an emergency is welcome to register.

This course is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult and child CPR and AED use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children, and infants. This course teaches skills with the AHA's research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback, and guide the students' learning of skills.

HeartSaver CPR/AED classes are held the first Tuesday of each month beginning at 6:00pm at the Fire Administration building located at 25855 John M Snook Drive (behind Orange Beach City Hall, directly next to Station 1) and lasts approximately 2 hours. The cost to receive a certification card is $26.00 and is valid for 2 years. Participants may pay by check only. Please make checks payable to City of Orange Beach

If you do not need a certification card, there is no cost to City of Orange Beach residents. Please indicate whether or not you require a card on the registration form.
