How can I obtain a copy of medical records?
Medical records for EMS transport fall under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 2015 (HIPAA). In order to receive a copy of your own personal medical records, you must submit a Public Records Request form (included below). Please make sure to include the patient's full name, date of transport, and a description of the records you are requesting. Please note: For attorneys or other representatives requesting medical records for a client, you MUST include an authorization signed by the patient with your request.

My fire hydrant is experiencing an issue. Who do I call?
Fire hydrants within the City of Orange Beach are maintained by the Orange Beach Water Authority. For any problem relating to a fire hydrant, please give them a call at 251-981-4233.
T-Shirts and Patches
Do you sell t-shirts?
T-shirts are $20/shirt and are available in sizes S-2XL in both grey and pink (for breast cancer awareness). We are unable to ship t-shirts, but you are welcome to pick one up at our office located at 25855 John Snook Drive in Orange Beach between 8am and 5pm (Mon-Fri). Acceptable forms of payment include cash or check only (no card payments). Please make checks payable to OBFD Volunteer Board.
Do you participate in patch trading?
Yes, we offer patch trading on a limited basis as available. Please contact our administrative assistant at firstname.lastname@example.org or (251) 981-6166 regarding trades.

What are the current beach conditions?
The Daily Beach Report is updated each day, three times daily. Please call 251-981-SURF (7873) to hear the most up-to-date beach conditions.
My items I left on the beach are missing. Can I get them back?
Under the Leave Only Footprints campaign, items left on the beach overnight will be disposed of by Orange Beach Coastal Resources. This includes tents, canopies, beach chairs, toys, etc. Please visit the Leave Only Footprints Campaign page to learn more.
