SPECIAL COVID-19 NOTICE: Orange Beach Municipal Court will resume in-person trials and hearings beginning May 18, 2020. Only individuals with cases set on pre-scheduled dates and times will be admitted in the Orange Beach Municipal Courtroom. All individuals entering the courtroom will be screened and assessed for any potential health concerns (symptomatic, exposure, etc.).
If you have a case and wish to have a trial, you must contact the Court to schedule a date and time.
Court offices remain open with a policy of one person allowed at time if you would like to settle your case without having to appear.

The Orange Beach Municipal Court has jurisdiction over misdemeanor traffic cases, misdemeanor criminal cases and violations of municipal ordinances that occur in the city limits or the Police jurisdiction of the City of Orange Beach
The legal authority to bring cases in the Orange Beach Municipal Court is the Code of Alabama mainly Title 32 (traffic) and Title 13A (criminal), as adopted by city ordinance. The adopting ordinances and code sections as well as other ordinances and code sections, enforced in the Municipal Code Book.
You have the legal right to contest any charge and have a trial before the court. No payments will be accepted on the day of court. We do not accept personal checks.
If you are charged with an offense that can be handled without appearing in court, payment must be made before your court date. Call 251-981-2444 for further information.
It is your responsibility to ensure that payments are made in sufficient time to meet required deadlines, or late fees, warrant fees and loss of your driver’s license may apply.
