Orange Beach Youth Sports:

The City of Orange Beach offers soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, sand volleyball, and flag football to our local youth. Please see the sport timeline below regarding registration dates for upcoming sports. 

Soccer Registration: July 6-July 31, 2020:        

(Ages based on birthdays as of August 1, 2020. Beginning on Monday, July 6th, click on the links below to register via ActiveNet. Find ActiveNet registration instructions below.)

Basketball: October 5-October 30, 2020

Flag Football: October 5-October 30, 2020

Baseball, Softball, T-Ball and Tiny T-Ball: January 18-February 5, 2021

Sand Volleyball: February 8-February 26, 2021

For all youth sports registrations, the parent or legal guardian will need to create an account on ActiveNet before registering a participant. See instructions below.

ActiveNet Orange Beach

In January 2020, the City of Orange Beach started utilizing the ActiveNet website to handle some online registrations and activities sign-ups. 

For your convenience, you can search, enroll and pay registration fees all on ActiveNet from the comfort of your computer or on your Smartphone. To get started an account must be created. 

Once an account is created and children/family members are added, the information will be saved for future activity registrations.  

Creating Your ActiveNet Account

To register for activities, you will need to create an Active Orange Beach account.

Step One:
  1. Start by accessing our new site at https://apm.activecommunities.com/orangebeach
Step Two:
  1. Click “Create an Account.

Step Three:
  1. Fill in your name and address. Required fields are denoted by a red asterisk (*).
  2. Click “Next.”

Step Four:
  1. Fill in your Contact Information. Required fields are denoted by a red asterisk (*).

Note: Cell phone numbers and emails are required. Both are essential communication tools for the sports director/staff and volunteer coaches.

2. Click “Next” when complete.

Step Five:
  1. Enter your personal information. Required fields are denoted by a red asterisk (*).

Step Six:
  1. Provide your Emergency Contact and Account Information.

All required fields are denoted by a red asterisk (*). Create a secure password you will be able to remember, but others will not be able to guess.

2. Once you complete all required fields, click “Create Account” or “Create Account and Add Family Members” to add family members to your account. Family members can include your spouse/partner, children or other family members who live at your home address.

Register for Activities on ActiveNet 

ActiveNet Orange Beach site - https://apm.activecommunities.com/orangebeach. After an account is created, you can enroll in an activity.  

Step One:

1. Go to the Activities page and select Activity. 
Step Two:
1. Click “Add to Cart” on Activity Search Page or on Activity details page.

Step Three:

1. After selecting the activity you prefer, you will be prompted to select a participant from a dropdown menu.

2. Click “Next.”
Step Four:

1. Fill in the enrollment information for the participant. Uniform sizes have dropdown menus and the others require a "yes" or "no," and more details if the answer is "yes".

2. Click “Next” when complete.

Step Five:

1. On the "Shopping Cart" page, you can review, edit, or remove the activity you added as well as add another participant. Click "Proceed to Checkout" once you're done.

Step Six:

1. At the Checkout page, review the registration information then initial to consent to the General Waiver and check off the Birth Certificate requirement acknowledgment and the Photo Waiver. All are required before registration can be finished and payment made.

2. Click “Next” when complete.

Step Seven:

1. On the payment page put your credit card information in to complete the registration process.

Once the payment is made you will see the Confirmation page and can view a printable receipt. You will also receive an email confirmation.
