Festival of Art:

For more than 40 years, the Festival of Art has been our island's first rite of spring. It is a celebration of visual, performing, musical and culinary arts.  With more than 100 artists working in a dazzling variety of medias, festival-goers always have plenty to see, hear, touch, taste and experience. This fine arts festival is completely FREE with music and entertainment featured on two stages. Public parking is located at Island Church with shuttle service provided for a $5 daily rate. Parking is also available at Orange Beach City Hall.  Island Church parking is available Saturday 9-5, but only 1-5 on Sunday. Parking for guests approaching from east Orange Beach (Bear Point, Caswell, etc.) is at the Orange Beach Presbyterian Church.

Seafood Festival:

The festival is one of the events put on by MAAAC - Makos Academics, Arts & Athletics Club - and supports extracurricular activities at Orange Beach schools. Each year in late February, the event includes a full day of delicious food, 120 arts and crafts vendors, music on two stages, a large Kids Zone with activities and entertainment and a Car Show featuring antique, classic and hot rod vehicles.

SEC Soccer Championship:

The City of Orange Beach hosted the Southeastern Conference Women’s Soccer Championship beginning in 2003, and then in consecutive years from 2005 to 2021 at the Orange Beach Sportplex. The 2021 championship marked an end of an era as it was the last year Orange Beach would host the tournament for the foreseeable future.
