LATIN DANCE - BACHATA - 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. - THURSDAYS - September 17th to December 10th
Classes will be held at Orange Beach Recreation Center MPR1 with Instructor Ivan Correa. Bachata is a style of dance that originated in the Dominican Republic. It is a dance widely all over the world but not identically. The basics to the dance are three steps with a Cuban hip motion, followed by a tap including a hip movement on the fourth beat. This class is open to singles and couples.
Class size: 6 to 40 participants.
Appropriate clothing: Athletic/comfortable clothes, slick/suede sole shoes for men, slick/suede sole flats or low heel shoes for ladies (no spikes or stilettos).
