Divemaster to speak at Feb. 4 potluck at Community Center

The Monthly Community Potluck will be held on Monday, February 4th at the Orange Beach Community Center, featuring a divemaster.

Mark Bollinger will narrate video of the latest big boat that was recently sunk as well as the new snorkel beds recently installed near Orange Beach.  

Doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner starts at 6:30. Everyone is invited; just bring a dish to share.

Bay Circle historical marker dedication postponed to Feb. 5

Alabama 200 Orange Beach marker dedication

UPDATE: The unveiling will take place at 2 p.m. instead of 1 p.m. with the hope of avoiding rain.

Due to weather concerns, the Bay Circle historical marker unveiling ceremony has been postponed from January 29th to 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 5th.  All are welcome to attend the ceremony at the corner of Bay Circle and Canal Road, near Orange Beach Waterfront Park.

Two new officers at Orange Beach PD

Orange Beach Police Chief Joe Fierro introduced the newest officers of the department - Officer Michael Dean and Officer Abby Headley - to the City Council during its regular meeting on Tuesday, January 8th.

Following their introduction, Officers Dean and Headley were sworn in by Orange Beach Municipal Judge Julian B. “Buddy” Brackin.
