The 38th Annual NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship is down to four teams with semifinal action starting at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Orange Beach Sportsplex.

At 1 p.m. No. 4 seed Central Methodist (22-1-0) takes on No. 1 William Carey (21-0-0). At 4 p.m. No. 10 seed Oregon Tech (20-2-1) clashes with No. 3 Tennessee Southern (21-1-0). 

The Orange Beach Police Department has set dates in January and February when officers will conduct Golf Cart Inspections and Permit Registrations in neighborhoods. 

The Orange Beach Garden Club offers three great reasons to attend its 34th Annual Game Day!

Ten teams, all from different states, will be competing in Orange Beach starting on November 30th at the 38th Annual NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship.

Starting this week, the Orange Beach Fire Department would like to invite the public to send questions about home fire or life safety issues to the "Ask a Firefighter" column in the City of Orange Beach Newsletter to be answered by your local firefighters.

“Thoroughly Modern Millie” will be the first fully-theatrical presentation by the Expect Excellence Community Theater in the new Performing Arts Center on Canal Road. The state-of-art 710-seat theater also serves as the performance venue for Orange Beach High School, as part of a cooperative agreement between the Baldwin County Public School System and the City of Orange Beach.

During the Thanksgiving holiday, non-essential city offices will be closing at noon on Wednesday, November 24th and all day Thursday and Friday, November 25th and 26th.

With trash pickup, the usual Friday residential routes will run on Saturday.

City offices will open for normal business hours on Monday, November 29th.

There are 17 new firefighters in the ranks of departments in south Alabama following the graduation ceremony of Recruit Class 21-01 on the morning of Friday, November 19, 2021 at The Island Church in Orange Beach, Alabama.
