The City of Orange Beach will host an open house/grand opening for the new Orange Beach Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, November 16th from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. The City Council meeting and Committee of the Whole will follow at 5 p.m. in the main auditorium. 

ORANGE BEACH, Alabama - Competition is fierce at the 2021 Southeastern Conference Women’s Soccer Championship as opening day on Sunday, October 31st showed with both games going to penalty kicks after double overtime at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. 

With the help of Alabama Forestry Commission, a prescribed burn is planned within Gulf State Park along Eagle Loop, Lakeview Trail, and State Park Road as part of a forest management plan. State Park Road will be CLOSED from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

This year's championship will mark an end of an era as it will be the last year Orange Beach hosts the tournament for the foreseeable future.

The City of Orange Beach welcomes the return of the Southeastern Conference Women’s Soccer Championship for the last time this Sunday, October 31st through next Sunday, November 7th, at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. 

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ (ADCNR) Marine Resources Division (MRD) reminds anglers that the recreational harvest of greater amberjack in federal and Alabama state waters closes November 1, 2021. The season will remain closed through April 30, 2022, and is scheduled to reopen May 1-31, 2022.

The Orange Beach Community Association will honor Orange Beach first responders at the November Community Potluck on Monday, November 1st at 6 p.m. at the Orange Beach Community Center.  

The Christian Service Center has been providing gifts for many children from Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Fort Morgan for more than 20 years. 

Christmas Cheer is a program for local families that need help providing Christmas for their children. This program is sponsored by area churches, clubs, businesses, restaurants, and generous community members.

Orange Beach, Ala. - It’s never too early to start planning for Christmas! The newest Gulf Coast mid-December tradition, the Holly Days on Main Festival, is returning to The Wharf in Orange Beach. After a successful turnout in 2020, the Coastal Alabama Business Chamber is excited to announce the second edition of the event happening December 11th and 12th.

Since Halloween falls on Sunday this year, the City of Orange Beach is encouraging the community and neighborhoods to observe Halloween on Saturday, October 30th. This will assist Orange Beach police and emergency services with safety and provide a non-school night for children to thoroughly enjoy Halloween.
