The Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach will host an Acoustic Arts concert series in January and February. All concert tickets are $25 in advance.

Orange Beach residents can dispose of live Christmas trees for recycling by placing trees, completely stripped of decorations and tinsel, on their curbs for pickup by Public Works.
In order to be recycled, trees must be stripped of all decorations and they cannot be flocked. Flocked trees are not recyclable and will not be picked up for recycling.
A Snowbird Community Welcome Reception will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, January 13th at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center.
The free reception will include facility tours and information about upcoming school and city performances with the box office open to purchase tickets.

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’(ADCNR) Marine Resources Division (MRD) will close the state’s 2021 private angler red snapper fishing season at midnight on Monday, December 27. Alabama’s 2021 federal allocation of red snapper was 1.12 million pounds. Anglers harvested nearly 1 million pounds during the 124-day season.
The City of Orange Beach’s Continuing Excellence program for adults has a full slate of free Spring 2022 programs and activities lined up at the Orange Beach Recreation Center and other facilities, including some virtual options.
The Orange Beach Planning Commission is scheduled to meet at 3 p.m. Monday, December 13th for a work session followed by a 4 p.m. regular meeting in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
