Every Fourth of July is special along the Alabama Gulf Coast with fireworks shows going on all along the beach. This year will be no different but expect a bit more as everyone celebrates America's 250th birthday.
To kick things off, the City of Orange Beach has teamed up with The Wharf to provide a spectacular fireworks display and drone show on Thursday, July 2nd in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, and as part of the America250Alabama initiative.
Fireworks will go off at 9 p.m. and the drone show starts at 9:15 p.m. The Independence Day Street Party will run from 5:30-9:30 p.m. There will be a bubble truck, bounce houses, an inflatable obstacle course, camel and pony rides, facepainting, and other activities - some with fees. The SPECTRA Laser Light Experience will follow the drone show.

Come Saturday, July 4th there will be no shortage of firework displays along Baldwin County's 32 miles of beach, from the state line at Flora-Bama to the Fort Morgan peninsula.
Gulf State Park Pier Fireworks
Saturday, July 4th - Fireworks at Gulf State Park Pier with show starting at 9 p.m. - The City of Gulf Shores will present its Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Celebration on Saturday, July 4th at the Gulf State Park Fishing and Education Pier.
- The fireworks display will be launched from the pier at 9 p.m.
- Spectators are encouraged to gather at Gulf State Park and the eastern area of Gulf Shores Public Beach for the best viewing experience. Those planning to view the fireworks from Gulf State Park are encouraged to utilize the parking areas at Lake Shelby and the Gulf State Park Beach Pavilion.

Perdido Beach Resort Independence Day Fireworks
Saturday, July 4th - Perdido Beach Resort - Independence Day Celebration with fireworks at 9 p.m.
- This year’s celebration is exclusively for registered resort guests. The fireworks can be seen along the beach for the public.
- Hotel guests will enjoy an afternoon filled with classic American cookout favorites, live music, family-friendly activities, and beachside fun from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Then, end the evening with fireworks at 9 p.m.

Flora-Bama Freedom Run and Fireworks
Saturday, July 4th - Flora-Bama - fireworks at 9 p.m. - The Flora-Bama Fourth of July festivities will begin on Saturday at 8 a.m. with the 6th Annual Freedom Run. This patriotic run features two courses: The 4 Mile Run/Walk Course or the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk.

250th Spectacular at OWA in Foley
Saturday, July 4th - OWA in Foley with fireworks at 8:50 p.m. - OWA will celebrate the Fourth of July with a Star Spangled 250th Spectacular.
- Activities will begin at 2 p.m. A 250th Independence Day Parade will roll throughout Downtown OWA at 4 p.m. There will also be a Red, White, & Chew Watermelon Eating Competition.
- The festivities will be capped off with a fireworks show at 8:50 p.m.
