I have some old, outdated prescription medications at my house. Where can I safely dispose of them?

Prescription Medication DisposalOld prescriptions can be dangerous and should not be disposed of improperly. The Orange Beach Police Department has made a disposal site available, free of charge. You will find the drop box just inside the lobby of the Police Department.

There is no fee and the box is available 24 hours a day/seven days a week. You may leave these drugs in their original container, or seal them in a bag or other non-breakable container for disposal. No information is gathered from the containers.
