Seasonal Sports

The City of Orange Beach offers soccer, basketball, baseball, softball, sand volleyball, cheerleading, contact football, and flag football to our local youth. Please see the sports timeline below regarding registration dates for upcoming sports. 

2026-2027 Registration Periods

  • Contact Football (Grades 3rd-6th): May 4-17, 2026 
  • Cheer (Grades 3rd-6th): May 4-17, 2026
  • Soccer: July 27 - August 9, 2026
  • Basketball: October 19-November 1, 2026
  • Flag Football: October 19-November 1, 2026
  • Baseball, Softball, T-Ball, and Tiny T-Ball: February 15 -28, 2027
  • Sand Volleyball: February 15 -28, 2027

Volunteer Coaches 

If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Youth Sports Coach, a Volunteer Youth Sports Coach form will be available online while a sport registration is open, if there is a coaching need. (Please note: Coaches' clinic is mandatory.)

For all youth sports registrations, the parent or legal guardian will need to create an account on ActiveNet before registering a participant.

Sportsman

In May 2026, the City of Orange Beach will begin utilizing the Sportsman to handle some online registrations and activity sign-ups.

For your convenience, you can search, enroll and pay registration fees all on Sportsman from the comfort of your computer or on your Smartphone. To get started, an account must be created. Find instructions in the "How to Register" tab on this page.
