Youth Softball
The Orange Beach Parks and Recreation Department offers youth softball each spring to children ages 4 years old (Tiny T-ball) to 12 years old at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Registration typically opens in early February and the season runs from March to early May. Each team will play 7 to 10 games. (From ages 4 to 6 years old are co-ed leagues.)

- Evaluations: February 24th
- Coaches Clinic: February 25th
- Practice Start: March 2nd
- Opening Day Ceremony: March 26th
- Season Opens: March 30th
- Season Closes: May 15th
If you are interested in becoming a Volunteer Youth Sports Coach, a Volunteer Youth Sports Coach form is available online while registration is open. (Please note: Coaches' clinic is mandatory.)
USA Softball of Alabama
Beginning in the 2025 season, the City of Orange Beach Parks & Recreation Department is excited to announce that we are sanctioning with USA Softball of Alabama. We believe this move provides us the opportunity for a continued great regular season but also provides us a better all-star experience geared to actual "recreational teams" with multiple tournament options.
