City of Orange Beach Procurement Office

The Procurement Officer is responsible for coordinating all areas of purchasing for the City of Orange Beach. Areas of work include ensuring that all purchasing procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations, managing the city's sealed bid process, soliciting quotes from vendors, creating and/or verifying purchase requisitions, and assigning purchase order numbers.

Our mission is to provide quality service to both outside vendors and internal departments of the City, while sourcing quality goods and services in an ethical, cost-effective, and timely manner adhering to all legal requirements.

New e-Procurement Portal - OpenGov

Dear Valued Vendors! On March 9, 2026 the City of Orange Beach transitioned to a new eProcurement solution (OpenGov) for publishing solicitations, and receiving vendor responses.

Starting April 2, 2026, OpenGov will be the only bid portal for the City of Orange Beach. 

Register your OpenGov account to begin receiving email notifications for the City’s Bid/RFP opportunities. Registration is 100% free for vendors! After registering, subscribe to the City of Orange Beach e-Procurement Portal.

Vendor Packet for the City of Orange Beach

The Vendor Application Form (PDF) must be completed and on file with the City before becoming a vendor for the City of Orange Beach.

Surplus Equipment

The Procurement Officer regulates the disposal of all surplus equipment through public auction. The City of Orange Beach utilizes GovDeals.com as its online auction provider. Bidders are encouraged to register on the GovDeals website.
