The residential charge is currently $28 per month inside the City limits and $42 per month outside the City limits. These charges are billed by the Finance Department on the last day of each month for the upcoming month. The City provides household-garbage service to all residential locations with the City through a contract with Allied Waste. Household garbage collection is done twice each week, on Tuesday and Friday.
The residential garbage charge is currently $16.25 per month and is billed by the Finance Department on the same bill as the sewer charge. The City Finance Department also handles the ordering of new services and any concerns relative to the contracted service.
