Waterfront Park Pier
The Waterfront Park Pier reopened in late December 2022 after being completely rebuilt. The pier was severely damaged during Hurricane Sally in September 2020.
Open to the public year-round, except during the Orange Beach Festival of Art on the second weekend in March, this beautiful family park is located on scenic Wolf Bay. The Edward H. Carroll, Sr. Kids Park playground is also part of the Waterfront Park. Amenities include a 400' pier with covered pavilions and seating, picnic shelters with grills, restrooms, a paved walking path, and parking. It is the perfect photo opportunity with Wolf Bay as a backdrop.
Kids Park Playground
The playground at the Edward H. Carroll, Sr. Kids Park at Waterfront Park was renovated and reopened in late 2021.
Notice
Please be aware that the Kids Park playground will be closed on the first Monday of each month for a few hours in the morning for maintenance and cleaning.
Waterfront Park is many times used for events and special celebrations such as weddings, birthday parties, etc. The park cannot be 'reserved' for exclusive use since it is a public park but we do encourage those who wish to use the facilities to call the Coastal Arts Center office at 251-981-2787 to at least apprise us of your intended use. Your name and date of use will be recorded on a calendar to hopefully alleviate problems with overlapping events.
