About the Event
Join us for a special Parks & Rec Month edition of the Coastal Table! We are thrilled to welcome local artisan Mary Nielson with "Brush Buckets" to guide us in creating a piece of wearable art that is uniquely YOU!
At this fun and creative Hat Painting Workshop, you'll design and hand-paint your own custom hat. Whether you're getting ready for festival season, football season, beach days, upcoming concerts, or just want a one-of-a-kind summer accessory, this class is the perfect way to show off your personal style.
No prior painting experience is needed—we'll provide all the supplies, inspiration, and step-by-step guidance. Just bring your creativity and get ready to leave with a beautiful, custom hat!
How It Works & Registration

Step 2: Join the Waitlist! If the class is fully booked when you click through, please make sure to sign up for the official waitlist. If there are cancellations or if we can add a second class session, waitlisted individuals will get priority notification.
Step 3: Head to the Orange Beach Community Center on July 21st at 5:30 PM, ready to paint!
Know Before You Go
What's Included: Your registration covers your hat, all high-quality painting supplies, brushes, and professional instruction from Mary Nielson.
What to Wear: We will be working with paints, so we highly recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you wouldn't mind getting a small splash of color on.
