About the Event
Join the Orange Beach Parks & Recreation Department in celebrating National Parks & Recreation Month in July with a free family tennis clinic! The clinic will be held on Saturday, July 18th, from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM at the Orange Beach Tennis Center with our Tennis Pro, Natalie Van Blerk, and Tennis/Pickleball Manager, Kevin LaPointe! This is an introduction to tennis clinic geared towards families with children aged 7-12. Parent(s) must accompany their kid(s) during the clinic. Registration will be on Court Reserve, and space is limited. Only one registration by a parent or guardian is needed to reserve your family's spot. Popsicles will also be provided for the kids!
How It Works
Step 1: Click the registration button below to reserve a spot for your family group.
Step 2: Arrive at the Tennis Center 10–15 minutes early to check in at the courts.
Step 3: Grab a racket, meet our instructors, and hit the court for a fun morning of tennis games and drills!
Know Before You Go
- Admission & Registration: While this clinic is completely free, pre-registration is required. A single reservation in Court Reserve by a parent or guardian registers the entire family; you do not need to include every family member at registration.
Equipment: Please bring your own tennis rackets if you have them. A limited number of loaner rackets and all tennis balls will be provided on-site.
What to Wear: Athletic clothing and tennis shoes are required. Don't forget to bring a water bottle!
