Latest Town Hall - May 6, 2026 at Orange Beach Performing Arts Center
Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council held a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center. The Town Hall followed the 5 p.m. regular council meeting and Committee of the Whole (work session).
Mayor Kennon led the Town Hall with a presentation, giving updates on the latest projects, programs and a proposed development in the city.

Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council held a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the Orange Beach Event Center. The Town Hall followed the 5 p.m. regular council meeting and Committee of the Whole (work session).
Mayor Kennon led the Town Hall with a presentation, giving updates on the latest projects and programs in the city. The Wharf owner Art Favre kicked off the Town Hall with an update on the latest Wharf Landing development, anchored by Margaritaville Resort Orange Beach.

March 30, 2022 - Town Hall on City School System at Orange Beach Performing Arts Center
Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council held a town hall meeting on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center to discuss the council's decision to form a new city school system, separating from Baldwin County Public Schools.

Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council held a town hall meeting on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Orange Beach Performing Arts Center to update the public on everything that is happening in the city, such as current and future projects.

2020 Town Hall Meeting
Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council held a mostly virtual town hall meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 in the Orange Beach Community Center. The town hall meeting had been previously planned to cover updates to the city's after-school programs, Expect Excellence and Camp Sunshine; however, with the recent coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in the U.S., and now Alabama, it was decided to shift the meeting to cover pressing topics related to issues facing Orange Beach. Since the coronavirus situation is changing daily, topics discussed in the meeting will become outdated as new information comes to light.

2017 Town Hall Meeting
Orange Beach Mayor Tony Kennon and the City Council invited the public to a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at the Orange Beach Event Center.
The meeting included updates on transportation projects and schools, with Alabama Department of Transportation Director John Cooper and Southwest Regional Engineer Vince Calametti along with Baldwin County Schools Superintendent Eddie Tyler and his directors in attendance.

Jack Edwards National Airport (JKA)
The Alabama Department of Transportation's Aeronautics Bureau completed a comprehensive study of the annual economic impacts generated by Alabama's public use airports. These annual economic impacts are produced by activities associated with the management of airports, business/government tenants at airports, average annual capital investments in airports, and the spending by visitors who arrive at airports on general aviation aircraft. The Total Annual Economic Impacts for Jack Edwards National Airport Report (PDF) is the report for Jack Edwards National Airport in Gulf Shores, which receives financial support from the City of Orange Beach.
